Fat Dissolving Injections

Before Care:

  • Stop retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, Vitamin E for 5–7 days pre/post.

  • Stop alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen before and after.

  • Avoid smoking until healing.

  • Lemon bottle fat dissolving is not suitable if allergic to pineapple.

Risks / Side Effects:

  • Swelling (especially chin)

  • Bruising, redness, tenderness

  • Numbness or hardness

  • Cold sores may be triggered

  • Rare allergic reaction

Aftercare:

  • Do not touch for 12 hours.

  • Avoid chlorine for 12 hours.

  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds for 2 weeks.

  • No other treatments in the area for 2 weeks.

  • Use ice packs to reduce swelling.

  • Drink plenty of water to break down and eliminate fat.

  • Massage treated area daily (after injection sites heal), for 1 week.

  • Wear SPF 30+.

  • 3-6 treatments recommended for optimal results.
